Hi, I’m Jade.
I’m currently a member of the Great Britain Rhythmic Gymnastics Group Squad.
In January 2012 the group made history when we qualified for a host nation place for London 2012 making us the first ever rhythmic group from Great Britain to go to the Olympics.
Such is the level of commitment that all of us have taken a year out of education
in order to train full time.
This means training at least 7 hours a day, 6 days a week.
Our coach is Sarah Moon, one of the top coaches in Great Britain. She has raised our performance to such an extent that at last we are starting to win medals when we compete internationally. Together we are determined to make GB proud and to produce our best ever routines when we compete at the Olympics.
However, talent, commitment and dedication are not enough. All of this has come at a cost. Without the help of our parents, sponsors, donations and wonderful supporters we wouldn’t now be achieving our Olympic Dream. Thank you everyone for your help.
